What’s better than spring skiing? For some — summer skiing. (Yes, even in the Northern Hemisphere.)
Thanks to the Hortsman Glacier, T-shirt clad skiers can enjoy the luxury of Whistler’s slopes from late June through the end of July. Slopes are open from noon to 3 p.m., ensuring plenty of time to explore some of Whistler’s other (albeit no less untraditional) summer adventures like mountaintop BBQ, bear viewing or the Peak 2 Peak tram ride and hike.
