Swiss ski chalet manager Verbier Exclusive acquired Ski Verbier earlier this month in perhaps the most seamless alpine merger ever completed. Verbier Exclusive owner David Pearson originally founded Ski Verbier in 1992, selling the company in 2006. Ski Verbier loyalists will likely see little difference under the re-acquisition, or more aptly, re-assimilation, of the companies, which already boast similarly luxurious properties and a fully catered approach, including pre-arrival assistance, car service, nannies, catered meals, restaurant reservations and other concierge services as desired.
Combining forces brings the Verbier Exclusive inventory to 14 total chalets, ranging from the 2-bedroom Chalet Romantica (formerly of Ski Verbier) to the 10-bedroom No. 14. Verbier Exclusive expects to assimilate the new chalets into its Web site over the next few months, with both sites remaining live during the transition.
