Harbin Wanda City International Hotel Cluster surpasses Ski Dubai with new ski court.
Skiers seeking a novel off-season adventure may find just the bucket-list-worthy experience they’re looking for in an unexpected destination — Beijing.
The Harbin Wanda City International Hotel Cluster opened this summer with the world’s largest indoor ski court, overtaking previous record-older Ski Dubai, which boasts 22,500 square meters.

Although perhaps not quite Disneyland, the family-friendly complex also features an outdoor theme park, indoor ice skating rink, nine restaurants and a movie park.
Architectural enthusiasts will also appreciate the “Oriental Moscow” design of the grand ballroom, courtyard and gardens, all inspired by ancient royal Russia. A celebration last month paid tribute to these elements with live performances.

Between attractions like Wanda City’s ski court and a growing national interest in skiing itself, we’re keeping an eye on China as the next frontier for intriguing on-hill adventures.
